These two amazing Photographers made everything about my Engagement and Wedding Photos as easy as possible. I am the epitome of the “Anti-Bride”. I didn’t care to have a wedding in the first place, so when my Fiancé told me his plans for an intimate wedding, I started to panic. I didn’t even know where to start, but I did know exactly who I wanted to shoot it. I’ve followed Oscar and Dassi for a while and watched their social media explode with amazing photos that really capture the romance of the soul. Even if it’s a single person ...they capture the fire in the eyes, the softness in the hair, the effortless poses or action shots and the the sheer beauty of the environment around. My fiancé and I met them for coffee to go over what our vision was for the pending nuptials and see if we were a good match to work with. I had no vision and I had very limited timeline of 6 months to pull everything off. Oscar and Dassi came to the rescue! We vibed immediately and I gave them full artistic freedom for the photos. They were able to give ideas of places for the engagement shoot that corresponded with our lifestyle of being outdoors. They also had recommendations for my makeup and clothing since I didn’t know where to start. Which included Dassi calming my nerves when I couldn’t find anything to fit the week before. We ended up in an old desert rock area where my Fiancé use to race motorcycles. We climbed up onto the the rocks at Sunset while drinking whiskey, listening to country and soaking up the desert air while creating the most badass engagement photos possible. I got to run around barefoot and my fiancé got photos of us in his beloved truck showing our true personalities. We have never felt more comfortable in front of a camera than We did with them. They came in with a plan and executed it beautifully. They were able to fast track the photos so we could use them with the announcements! When it was time for the wedding they were amazing as well! We had a couple shots that we definitely knew we wanted but other than that we trusted them with capturing the event. The whole day was so intimate and magical since it was in a Forest with a very small amount of people in attendance. They were able to get the romance of us walking around and dancing in the trees to the faces of our loved ones finding out that we were also expecting our first child together. They were able to capture all the intimate family moments throughout the day from the getting ready to the first looks, the ceremony, and the private shoot before the breakfast afterwards. They are the people who fix your hair, hold your vail, turn the flowers to show them off & your gorgeous dress, arch your back for the perfect silhouette, work with any insecurities you have all while making you laugh. Our photos are everything we could of ever wanted or dreamt of. We trusted them with absolutely everything and wouldn’t change a thing now. The photos now adorn our walls! I constantly recommend them to anyone looking for any type of photography. They are so incredibly caring, enthusiastic and knowledgeable of everything that’s involved. I’ve never felt so safe in trusting someone I just met, but their photos show the passion they have everyday!
