5 tips to find your wedding or elopement vendor dream team

Ya’ll only get married once, but I find amazing vendors ALL the time so I’m going to give you a few different ideas and tips to find your dream team!! 

The GRAM!

Jk I literally hate when people call it that lol. BUT Instagram is a really helpful place to find all kind of vendors so here are a few different methods to use!

Search hashtags! For example, #joshuatreephotographer,or #joshuatreewedding( look at the tagged vendors), if you’ve already found a vendor or two look at their photos from those areas and view the tagged vendors. You can also search via location like a local venue or go to the venues followers and you’ll generally find a ton of vendors interested in working there!

THE KNOT, WEDDING WIRE, AND AISLE PLANNER-

here you are probably aware of but be sure that you aren’t just choosing the ones that come up on the first or few first pages. They generally pay to get put there which can give you misleading results!

REFERRALS-

From friends and family! For best results look at someones photos you loved that they posted!! 

SPECIFIC GOOGLE/BING SEARCH-

try using keywords that are more specific to what you’re looking for such as “ elopement photographer in southern california”. “Wedding photographer in Joshua Tree” etc this can help you narrow it down by mood,vibe,location etc

VENDORS-

if you’ve booked ANY vendors ask them if they have any they recommend! Usually they’ll choose ones they know are reliable,experienced,talented and awesome to work with (which makes it easier for everyone there FYI).
